Comrade Paul Njoku, political adviser and campaign strategist to former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly and APC candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, has reacted to an open letter addressed to the incumbent federal lawmaker, Hon. Obi Aguocha.
The open letter, authored by Okwudiri Chikezie, challenged Aguocha to provide details of his legislative achievements and constituency projects after three years in office, rather than drawing public attention to court proceedings involving political opponents.
Reacting to the letter, Njoku urged the lawmaker to reflect on the concerns raised and render what he described as a “profound account” of his stewardship to the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency.
According to him, the essence of legislative representation and selfless leadership is to bring development and empowerment closer to the people through impactful projects and interventions.
Njoku further argued that Aguocha could not compare his record with that of Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, whom he credited with delivering health facilities, educational scholarships, sports infrastructure, road projects, vocational and digital skills programmes, rural development initiatives, and direct human capital empowerment during his time in public office.
He maintained that the people of the constituency deserve accountability, transparency, and tangible dividends of democracy from their elected representatives.
