Peter Obi Labels Tinubu Administration “Worst in Nigeria’s History”

Nigeria – Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has delivered a scathing critique of the current administration, describing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government as “the worst in the history of Nigeria.”

In a recent statement, Obi condemned the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government, asserting that the legislative arm is performing at its lowest point, while the judiciary has failed to serve as a refuge for the weak and poor. He further expressed concern over the growing insecurity and widespread killings affecting various parts of the country.

Obi stated, “The government has failed the people. Insecurities and killings are spreading all over the country, and our institutions no longer protect the vulnerable.” The former governor of Anambra State urged urgent reforms to restore public trust and address the worsening social and economic conditions.

Political analysts note that Obi’s remarks highlight deep frustrations among citizens and opposition figures regarding governance, accountability, and security. The criticisms also reflect broader debates about the performance of Nigeria’s democratic institutions under the current administration.

Obi called on Nigerians to remain vigilant and engage in democratic processes to ensure that leaders are held accountable. His comments are expected to resonate with citizens concerned about governance, justice, and security across the nation.
