The All Progressives Congress in Abia State has formally released an official directive detailing the procedure for the purchase of forms for all aspirants seeking to contest for the Abia State House of Assembly on the party’s platform ahead of the 2026 primaries.
According to the press release signed by the APC Abia State Publicity Secretary, Uche Aguoru, aspirants are required to pay a sum of N1,000,000.00 for the Expression of Interest Form and an additional N5,000,000.00 for the Nomination Form, bringing the total financial commitment to N6,000,000.00.
The party stated that both payments may be made in lump sums through any of the following designated bank accounts:
Union Bank PLC — 0239691733
United Bank for Africa (UBA) — 1025098328
Zenith Bank PLC — 1014008105
Following successful payment, aspirants are directed to proceed to the APC Abia State Secretariat located at No. 38 Azikiwe Road, by Adelabu Junction, Umuahia, with valid proof of payment to collect their forms.
The party further urged all aspirants to strictly adhere to the Revised Schedule of Activities for the 2026 Primaries, as approved and communicated by the National Working Committee of the APC.
The directive signals the formal commencement of the party’s internal processes ahead of what promises to be a highly competitive 2026 primary season across Abia State constituencies.
