The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, has extended warm Democracy Day greetings to the people of Abia Central and Nigerians across the country.
In his June 12 message, Atuma described Democracy Day as a time to reflect on the nation’s democratic journey, honour the sacrifices of those who fought for democratic rule, and renew the collective commitment to good governance.
He urged citizens to remain united and continue to support efforts aimed at building a peaceful, prosperous, and inclusive Nigeria.
According to him, democracy thrives when leaders remain accountable and responsive to the needs of the people, stressing the importance of active citizen participation in nation-building.
Rt. Hon. Atuma expressed optimism that Nigeria would overcome its challenges through unity, patriotism, and purposeful leadership.
He wished the people of Abia Central and all Nigerians a peaceful and memorable Democracy Day celebration.
