Ikwuano Monarch Breaks Silence, Alleges Conspiracy and Demands Probe in Solomon Ikokwu Case

AJATANIGU – His Majesty, King Larry Ogbonnaya Agwu, the Eze Onyeoruru 1 of Ajatanigu in Ikwuano, has broken his silence on the disappearance of Mr. Solomon Ikokwu, demanding a thorough investigation while alleging a coordinated conspiracy against his throne.

The monarch revealed he was only informed of the incident after his New Yam Festival, expressing dismay at being accused by Community Chairman Munachi Onwuchekwa and the youth leader, Mr. chukwudi Adimoha despite their alleged ties to the vigilante group in question.

“It is quite unfortunate that a community chairman and the youth leader accused me, while they have been working together with the said vigilante group,” King Agwu stated. He clarified he learned of the situation through secondary accounts and was unaware of the victim’s presence in the community.

The King accused the chairman and youth leader of hypocrisy, claiming they announced the vigilante group’s disbandment while having “always been working with the said team.” He alleged they colluded to extort money from suspects using a pre-arranged “sharing ratio”.

King Agwu framed the protests as a direct attack on his leadership, alleging, “The Chairman ganged up with some external elements who said they must remove me as king.”
