Court Orders Nnamdi Kanu’s Removal For Disruptive Behavior During Trial

ABUJA – The Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday ordered security personnel to remove Nnamdi Kanu from the courtroom after the detained IPOB leader was deemed unruly and disruptive during his ongoing trial.

Justice Binta Nyako made the order after Kanu repeatedly interrupted court proceedings, speaking out of turn and challenging the court’s authority despite multiple warnings to maintain decorum.

The development forced an abrupt adjournment of the session as security operatives escorted the defiant defendant from the premises, marking another dramatic turn in the long-running legal battle.

“Your behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in my courtroom,” Justice Nyako stated before issuing the removal order, emphasizing the need for proper judicial decorum.

Kanu’s legal team attempted to calm their client before the situation escalated, but the IPOB leader continued his protests against the trial’s proceedings, leading to the judge’s decisive action.

The case has been adjourned to a later date, with the court expected to review the incident and determine appropriate measures to ensure future proceedings can continue without similar disruptions.
