Ndi Nne Chika Ishionwu Pays New Year Visit, Offers Prayers and Strong Words of Support

IKWUANO, ABIA – The Ndi Nne Chika Ishionwu, a respected bloc of Ikwuano mothers under the For Us, By Us movement, paid a New Year prayer and solidarity visit to ‘UGWUMBA’ Chika Ishionwu, in an atmosphere filled with worship, thanksgiving, and celebration.

The mothers thanked Ugwumba for his consistent love and support throughout the past year, praising his humanitarian gestures that have directly touched their families and communities. They described him as bold, brave, fearless, yet deeply humble, noting that his impact speaks louder than titles or offices.

During the visit, the women passionately urged Ishionwu to consider putting his heart into the race for the Ikwuano State House of Assembly, assuring him of a guaranteed minimum of 5,000 votes from their bloc alone should he decide to run. According to them, their support is born not out of politics, but out of gratitude and trust in his character and antecedents.

In his response, Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu expressed deep appreciation for their prayers, love, and confidence in him. He revealed plans already lined up for the mothers in the new year, starting with 100 free JAMB registrations for their children as part of his ongoing commitment to education and empowerment.

However, in a show of humility and faith, Ishionwu emphasized that he is seeking God’s direction before making any decision about contesting for public office. He urged the mothers to continue praying for him as he waits for a clear divine sign. He also reassured them that he does not need to be in public office to continue serving Ikwuano, stressing that his philanthropic and people-centered initiatives will go on regardless of political position.
