ReDeputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has continued his consultative engagements within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State with a visit to the country home of former Minister of Finance, Dr. Kalu Idika Kalu, in Ohafia.
In a statement after the meeting, Rep. Kalu stressed the importance of honoring elder statesmen who have served the nation with dedication. He described Dr. Kalu Idika Kalu as a “revered elder statesman and national leader” whose humility, integrity, and wisdom remain exemplary.
The Deputy Speaker expressed gratitude for the elder statesman’s encouragement and support, describing the engagement as inspiring. He reiterated his commitment to partnering with respected leaders to foster development at the community, state, and national levels.
