Tinubu Visits Türkiye to Strengthen Diplomatic, Economic Ties

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Nigeria for a state visit to the Republic of Türkiye, as part of efforts to strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The visit, which begins today, is expected to feature high-level meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other senior officials. Key discussion points will include trade expansion, security collaboration, energy partnerships, and investment opportunities in critical sectors.

This engagement follows earlier interactions between both nations and underscores Nigeria’s continued drive to foster strategic international alliances that support economic growth and development.

Delegations from both countries are also anticipated to explore agreements aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and people-to-people exchanges.
