RABAT, MOROCCO – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially updated the records of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, enshrining Morocco as champions following the tournament’s conclusion.
The Atlas Lions clinched the continental title on home soil, defeating a formidable opponent in the final to secure their second AFCON crown. CAF’s updated records now reflect Morocco’s triumph, alongside individual accolades including the tournament’s top scorer, best player, and team of the tournament selections.
A CAF statement commended the successful hosting of the tournament, which was widely praised for its organization, passionate fan support, and high-quality football. The federation confirmed that all official statistics, match results, and historical records have been finalized and archived.
