Mayor Lucky Igbokwe Declares for House of Representatives, Promises Responsive Leadership

A prominent philanthropist and grassroots mobilizer, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (popularly known as Don Lulu), has formally declared his intention to contest for the Federal House of Representatives seat representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general elections.

In a statement released after extensive consultations with stakeholders and party leaders, Igbokwe said he has answered the call to serve at a higher level. “I have listened to the voices of our people. I will be contesting for the office of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency,” he declared.

The respected entrepreneur emphasized that his candidacy is rooted in service, accountability, and measurable development. He pledged to drive job creation, support youth enterprise, improve federal infrastructure presence, and expand access to quality education and healthcare.

“Our constituency is rich in talent, resilience, and potential. What we need is strong, effective representation to unlock it,” Igbokwe added.

He called on party faithful and the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia to rally behind his vision of people-centered leadership and inclusive growth. “This is more than a campaign; it is a movement for progress, opportunity, and lasting development,” he said.
