As the 2027 elections draw closer, the APC House of Assembly candidate for Umuahia South State Constituency, Chief Chibuike Peter Onyeulo, is redefining the political landscape.
In a manifesto styled as a covenant with voters, Onyeulo presented himself not just as a candidate, but as a movement. He described his bid as a vote for integrity over impunity, for service over self-interest, and for a new dawn over the long night of neglect and under-representation.
Speaking to supporters in the constituency, the chieftain lamented decades of poor representation, vowing to break the cycle. “Umuahia South has suffered too long from leaders who place personal gains above the people. That night is ending,” he said.
His campaign focuses on grassroots development, legislative accountability, and youth empowerment. Political analysts note that his message of “integrity over impunity” is resonating deeply with rural voters tired of empty promises.
As the race heats up, all eyes remain on this contender who refuses to trade the people’s future for selfish ambition.
