…Party Says Over 15 Billboards Destroyed in Bende, Calls for Security Investigation
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State has raised an alarm over the alleged destruction of more than 15 campaign billboards bearing the images of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, in Bende Local Government Area.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the APC State Publicity Secretary, Chief Uche Aguoru, said in a statement that the billboards were allegedly destroyed in the early hours of Tuesday.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that Aguoru accused suspected agents of the ruling Labour Party and alleged links to the state government, describing the incident as an attempt to intimidate opposition political parties ahead of the 2027 elections.

The development comes amid heightened political activity in Bende and wider Abia ahead of the 2027 elections. APC and Labour Party supporters have recently exchanged allegations over other election-related issues in Bende.
