Court Orders Interim Forfeiture Of Pretty Mike’s Night Club Over Drug Offences

LAGOS – The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the interim forfeiture of Proxy Night Club, owned by popular entertainer Mike Nwalie, popularly known as Pretty Mike.

The order was granted on Tuesday following an ex-parte motion filed by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The agency told the court that a raid on October 26, 2025, led to the discovery of 169 cylinders (384.662kg) of nitrous oxide and 200 grams of cannabis at the Victoria Island club.

According to the NDLEA, the substances were allegedly being stored in preparation for a drug-themed party. The operation resulted in the arrest of more than 200 fun-seekers.

Justice Musa Kakaki suspended the club’s activities pending the conclusion of investigations and adjourned the case to January 28, 2026, for a report.
