Deputy Speaker Kalu, Political Heavyweights Attend Onuigbo’s Thanksgiving Ceremony

A special thanksgiving service held at the Ibere Ikwuano country home of former federal lawmaker, Hon. Sam Onuigbo, attracted an array of high-profile political figures and leaders.

Hon. Onuigbo, who represented Ikwuano-Umuahia Federal Constituency from 2015 to 2023, currently serves as the Southeast representative on the board of the North East Development Commission.

The event was graced by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Ph.D., LLD, CFR; Senator Austin Akobundu; Hon. Obi Aguocha; High Chief Onyema Ugochukwu; Chief Charles Ogbonna; Chief Henry Ikoh; and numerous other dignitaries.

In his remarks, Deputy Speaker Kalu commended Rep. Sam Onuigbo and his wife, Dame Princess Onuigbo, for organizing the well-deserved thanksgiving service in honor of God’s blessings. He praised Onuigbo for his contributions, achievements, and unwavering commitment to national development.
