Oboro Clan Welfare Association Federated, OCWA will hold its 2025 Annual General Meeting, AGM and Get Together on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at La Escape Hotel and Resort, Nnono Junction, Umugbalu @ 12noon
The AGM which kicks off at 10 am prompt will feature a keynote address titled: ‘Oboro Clan: Our Culture and Our Place in National Politics’ to be presented by the eminent legal practitioner, Professor Uwaoma Ironkwe
OCWA will also at the AGM honour some illustrious Oboro sons including Engr Chief Iyke Anyadighibe; Dr. Sunday Ohuegbe; Chief Uwaoma Ukandu, Abia State Commissioner for Finance and High Chief Jephta Chibudom for their contributions to community development and philanthropic activities within the clan and beyond

The Oboro Community is home to two Federal institutions, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, MOUAU and National Roots Crop Research Institute and one of the oldest secondary schools in Nigeria, Government College, Umuahia.
