The Abia State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Henry Ikoh, has reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots engagement, stressing that effective leadership begins with listening to the people.
Speaking during ongoing consultations across Abia State, Ikoh emphasized the importance of understanding the needs and expectations of citizens as a foundation for sustainable development.
“As I interact with our people—from our local communities to key stakeholders—I do not just speak, I listen. I hear the concerns, I understand the expectations, and I share in the belief that Abia can, and must, do better,” he stated.
Ikoh explained that his engagements through the Renewed Hope Ambassadors are aimed at ensuring that every community has a voice and access to development opportunities.
He noted that the initiative goes beyond political organization, focusing on creating pathways for economic growth and social advancement.
Highlighting the national outlook, he expressed confidence in the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while also acknowledging the role of Hope Uzodimma as South East Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.
According to Ikoh, aligning Abia with the current national direction is essential for maximizing federal opportunities and accelerating development. He stressed that meaningful progress requires deliberate planning and execution.
“Progress is not accidental. It is intentional. And that is exactly what I am committed to delivering,” he added.
