Abia APC Now United, Focused and Ready for Greater Success — Atuma

Former Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, has declared that the Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is now fully united and repositioned for greater success following a strategic stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja.

Addressing journalists after the gathering, Atuma commended the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, for his decisive intervention in resolving internal misunderstandings and fostering cohesion among Abia APC members. He also acknowledged the stabilizing role of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, whose commitment to unity reinforced confidence among stakeholders.

“There is no faction in Abia APC,” Atuma declared. “We approached the National Chairman because of his proven capacity to lead with fairness and firmness. He acted swiftly, and today, we stand united.”

The meeting, chaired by Prof. Yilwatda, brought together key national officers and critical stakeholders from Abia State, including the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Hon. Nkeiru Onyejeocha, and other party leaders. Discussions focused on eliminating lingering frictions arising from recent congress arrangements and strengthening party structures ahead of future elections.

Atuma emphasized that the party is now focused on growth, cohesion, and sustained progress for Abia State, assuring that every genuine stakeholder will be accommodated within a framework of discipline and inclusion.
