APC Chieftains in Abia Name Ikoh as Renewed Hope Ambassador for Tinubu

UMUAHIA — Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Abia North, Central, and South have endorsed Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh as the Abia Renewed Hope Ambassador for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The decision was reached during a meeting in Umuahia on Thursday, where party leaders described Ikoh as a credible, unifying figure capable of bridging national leadership with grassroots realities in Abia State.

According to the chieftains, Ikoh’s political experience, calm authority, and inclusive approach make him the ideal messenger for Tinubu’s vision. They highlighted his ability to inspire youth, promote civic responsibility, and communicate national policies—especially in agriculture, infrastructure, and education—in ways that resonate locally.

CDA News gathered that the leaders resolved to take the message to all Local Government Areas and wards across Abia, ensuring the Renewed Hope Agenda gains widespread acceptance. They also thanked President Tinubu and the National Coordinator for Ambassadors, Governor Hope Uzodimma, for supporting the initiative.

Ikoh’s appointment is seen as a move to strengthen APC’s presence in Abia, foster unity across zones, and align the state with national development goals ahead of the 2027 elections.
