Hon. Chief Jerry Awa, the APC State Youth Leader, has called on Abians to harness the collective strength of every community to build a more prosperous and united state ahead of the 2027 general election.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that Awa made the call in a message titled “Harnessing the Strength of Every Part of Abia,” where he stressed that the state’s greatest asset remains its people. According to him, every community possesses talents, ideas, and leaders capable of contributing to meaningful development if properly mobilised.
He urged stakeholders to embrace a shared vision anchored on agriculture to boost food security and economic growth, quality education to prepare future generations, improved security to safeguard lives and property, and strategic youth development to create sustainable opportunities for young people.
Awa further noted that the future of Abia is being shaped by today’s decisions, urging citizens to actively participate in building a state driven by responsible leadership, renewed hope, and inclusive development.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the statement forms part of ongoing political conversations ahead of the 2027 elections, with political leaders and stakeholders presenting their visions for the future of Abia State. Observers say voters are expected to assess the ideas, leadership qualities, and policy proposals of aspirants as campaigns progress.
