Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State have unanimously endorsed the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, as the party’s leader in the state and declared their support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the endorsement followed a meeting of key APC stakeholders, where party leaders reaffirmed their confidence in Akume’s leadership and pledged to work together to strengthen the party’s structure across Benue State.
The stakeholders also expressed their support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid, citing the administration’s ongoing reforms and development initiatives. They urged party members to remain united and mobilise support for the APC ahead of the next general election.
According to the leaders, party unity remains essential to sustaining the APC’s electoral success in Benue and across the country. They called on members to set aside differences and focus on the party’s collective goals.
