ABUJA – The Federal High Court in Abuja has fixed November 20, 2025, for judgment in the terrorism case against Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Justice James Omotosho set the date after Kanu declined to open his defense, maintaining his position that the charges against him lack legal foundation.
The IPOB leader had argued in a motion that Nigeria’s Terrorism Prevention and Prohibition Act had been repealed, leaving no valid legal basis for his continued prosecution.
The case has drawn significant public attention as the court prepares to deliver its verdict later this month.
