Cubana Chief Priest Declares He Will Work Against Peter Obi

Popular socialite Cubana Chief Priest has declared his intention to oppose former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the 2027 general election.

The celebrity barman made the declaration during an Instagram exchange with followers on Tuesday. When asked directly if he was working against Obi, he responded, “Yes oh, hope say no be crime. I worked for Obi last election even as special adviser to an APC governor.”

Cubana Chief Priest, who served as a special adviser to an APC governor during the 2023 elections, cited his previous involvement with the Obi campaign as a basis for his current stance. His comment triggered mixed reactions, with some users referencing his past encounter with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Dismissing the concern, he wrote, “If you never go EFCC for Naija, you never make am.”

The conversation also touched on Biafra and South-East development. Responding to a user’s comment, Chief Priest challenged the region’s contributions to its own development, stating: “Go and support who you want to support. As you like Biafra, reach how many developments you don do for South East?”
