Hon. Chief Chinedum Kanu, popularly known as EDU London, has celebrated former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika (retd.), on the occasion of his birthday.
CDA News Nigeria reports that in a birthday tribute, Hon. Kanu described the former Chief of Army Staff as a distinguished military leader whose service to Nigeria remains exemplary.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the tribute acknowledged Ihejirika’s contributions to national security during his tenure as Chief of Army Staff from 2010 to 2014, and his continued role as a respected elder statesman and son of Abia State.
Hon. Kanu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), wished the former army chief good health, peace, and many more years of impactful service.
He noted that Ihejirika’s legacy of discipline, professionalism, and dedication to national service continues to inspire younger generations, describing him as a pride of Abia State and Nigeria at large.
The tribute joins a growing list of goodwill messages from political and military stakeholders celebrating the former Chief of Army Staff, who remains one of the most prominent military figures from the South-East.
