Ikwuano, Abia State — A youth leader and community advocate, Comr. Frank Chukwuemeka Wisdom, has called on the people of Ikwuano to focus on quality leadership ahead of the 2027 State House of Assembly election, stressing that the contest should be about competence and character, not party or clan.
Speaking in a statement made available to CDA News, Comr. Frank said Ikwuano deserves “better and quality representation,” urging voters to support individuals with proven integrity, consistency, and courage.
According to him, “The 2027 Ikwuano State House of Assembly election is not about party or clan, but about individual personality, integrity, consistency, and bravery. As the popular saying goes, who the cap fits.”
Comr. Frank formally pledged his “sincere and undiluted support” to Chief Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu, founder and convener of the For Us, By Us Movement, describing him as a tested leader who has demonstrated true representation even without holding any political office.
He noted that Chief Ishionwu’s record of service and community-driven leadership shows that Ikwuano stands to gain more effective representation and greater opportunities if he is elected.
“I believe that when elected, Ikwuano will enjoy better representation and more opportunities. Clan and party can fail, but a good representative will always put the people first and bring home the dividends of democracy,” he said.
Comr. Frank also urged the electorate to vote wisely and support candidates carefully in order to help build “the Ikwuano of our dreams — for us, by us.”
