Tears, tributes, and heartfelt memories marked the burial of the late Hon. Marizu Wisdom Ugorji, fondly called “Mariwonder,” on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Family, friends, and political allies gathered at his family compound in Umuokoroji, Azuiyi Oloko, to pay their final respects.
Known for his passion for community development and political service, Hon. Ugorji left an indelible mark on Ikwuano.
Elders and political colleagues remembered him as a man committed to education, healthcare, and grassroots empowerment, whose influence touched every corner of the local government area.
