The National Root Crops Research Institute (NRCRI), Umudike, Abia State, has announced the commencement of its 2026 Capital and Zonal Intervention Projects through the implementation of its 2026 procurement activities.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the announcement was contained in a public notice titled “Implementation of 2026 Procurement Activities,” signed by the management of the National Root Crops Research Institute, Umudike.
According to the notice, the procurement exercise is being conducted in line with the Institute’s statutory mandate and in compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
The Institute is inviting interested, competent, and reputable contractors and consultants with proven experience and a track record of successful project execution to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and bids for various contracts under the 2026 Capital and Zonal Intervention Projects.
The management stated that the procurement process is designed to ensure transparency, competitiveness, and value for money in the execution of projects aimed at strengthening agricultural research, infrastructure, and institutional development.
CDA News Nigeria reports that eligible firms are advised to carefully review the procurement requirements and submit all necessary documents within the stipulated deadline as contained in the official notice.
