NYCN President Champions Youth Activism as Key to Africa’s Future on Radio Nigeria

Abuja– The President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Babangida Onimisi Isah, has underscored the pivotal role of youth activism and digital innovation in driving transformative change across the African continent.

Comrade Isah made the assertion as a guest on a special program at Radio House, Abuja, the headquarters of Radio Nigeria, the largest radio network in Africa. The discussion, which centered on Africa’s future, used the current developments and leadership situation in Madagascar as a springboard to analyze broader continental realities.

During the interview, the youth leader shared profound insights on several critical issues shaping Africa’s trajectory. He highlighted the power of organized youth movements in holding leadership accountable and pushing for meaningful political and social reforms.

A significant part of the conversation focused on the transformative impact of digital technologies. Comrade Isah elaborated on how social media and digital tools are empowering social movements, enhancing civic engagement, and introducing new dynamics to governance and transparency.
