An All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate in Ondo State has appealed to aggrieved party members to refrain from staging protests and instead embrace dialogue in resolving internal disagreements.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the candidate made the appeal amid growing tensions within the party, stressing that unity remains essential to the APC’s success in future elections.
According to the candidate, protests and actions capable of deepening divisions within the party would only weaken its chances and undermine ongoing reconciliation efforts. He urged members with grievances to channel their concerns through the party’s established conflict-resolution mechanisms.
The APC flagbearer also called on party leaders at all levels to engage dissatisfied members and ensure that their complaints are addressed fairly and transparently.
He expressed confidence that the party would emerge stronger if members remained committed to peaceful dialogue, mutual respect and the collective interest of the APC.
CDA News Nigeria reports that party stakeholders have continued consultations aimed at strengthening unity and maintaining stability ahead of future political activities in Ondo State.
