The Nigeria Police have arrested the Secretary to the Osun State Government (SSG) and five other persons over alleged vote-buying offences during a recent election in the state.

According to the report, the suspects were taken into custody following allegations of involvement in Osun vote-buying allegations, an offence prohibited under Nigeria’s Electoral Act.
