President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep grief and outrage over the gruesome beheading of a teacher in Oyo State, while firmly pledging that the federal government will leave no stone unturned in rescuing students abducted during the horrifying incident.
In a statement released by the Presidency, President Tinubu described the attack as a barbaric and cowardly assault on education, innocence, and the Nigerian spirit, calling on security agencies to treat the rescue operation with maximum urgency.
The President extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the slain teacher, the Oyo State Government, and the broader Nigerian education community, describing the deceased as a hero who gave their life in service to the nation’s children.
“No act of terror will silence our classrooms or break our resolve,” the Presidency conveyed, reaffirming the administration’s zero-tolerance stance on attacks targeting schools and educators.
Security forces have been reportedly mobilised, as Nigerians across the country demand swift justice and the safe return of the abducted students.
