The Southeast Young Leaders Forum has officially declared its support for two of Abia State’s most prominent 2027 candidates — endorsing Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma for the Abia Central Senatorial District seat and Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji for the Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South Federal House of Representatives constituency.
The endorsement was announced by the group’s Secretary-General, Ms. Augustina Odor, in Umuahia on Monday, with the forum citing both candidates’ credibility, legislative track records, and capacity to deliver as the basis for their support.

He is the most qualified candidate for Abia Central based on what he has done, not empty promises. Rt. Hon. Odor called on the people of Abia Central and the broader Ikwuano/Umuahia constituency to rally behind both candidates, arguing that their experience and tangible achievements clearly set them apart from all other contenders in the 2027 race.
