According to the statistical model, France has the highest probability of winning the tournament, with Spain closely behind, based on thousands of simulations of the remaining matches.
The semi-final fixtures will see France face Spain in a heavyweight European showdown, while England will take on defending champions Argentina for a place in the final. The matchups were confirmed after England defeated Norway 2-1 after extra time and Argentina overcame Switzerland 3-1 in extra time.
