President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to receive a special envoy from South Africa following a telephone conversation with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa aimed at strengthening diplomatic relations between both countries.
According to the report, the decision to send a South African envoy underscores the commitment of both governments to sustaining dialogue and enhancing collaboration on political, economic and diplomatic matters.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for both countries to deepen cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, security and regional integration. The visit also comes amid ongoing engagements between Nigeria and South Africa on issues affecting their long-standing bilateral relationship.
