ADC CELEBRATES DEFECTION OF FORMER OPPOSITION CANDIDATE IN ABIA

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abia State recorded a significant political gain as it officially welcomed Bishop Nwakpa, the former 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the Accord Party, into its fold.

The decamping ceremony, held in Isiala Ngwa North LGA, was described as a moment of “great harvest.” The event was attended by the State Party Chairman, Don Norman Obinna (Agu Ibeku), and other top party faithful.

Among the special guests was Abia Central Senatorial hopeful, Chief Chukwunma Victor Nnochiri, who cheered the new member and the crowd. Chief Nnochiri used the platform to reaffirm his commitment to building the party.

Chief Nnochiri was accorded to speak to the Party at Isiala Ngwa North LGA during the defection ceremony, he Applauds the party and reaffirmed his commitment after thanking all.

“If elected as Abia Central Senator, I will change our senatorial narrato positive direction and put ADC first with quality leadership and representation at the National Assembly,” Nnochiri vowed.

Chairman Don Norman Obinna thanked Bishop Nwakpa for joining the ADC, describing the party as “the home” where internal democracy is upheld.
