Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has pledged sustained development support for Ikirun during condolence visits to families of prominent late indigenes.
The Eesa of Ikirunland, High Chief Kareem Adetoyese, commended Adeleke for reviving the town’s fortunes after what he described as neglect by the previous administration.
At the residences of the late DIG Lawal Kasali and Chief Imam Sheikh Yunus Balogun, families thanked the governor for his consistent backing of Ikirun’s progress.
Adeleke directed the Ministry of Works to assess and rehabilitate the Akirun Palace road, Inisha Junction road, and the Ikirun Central Mosque drainage system.
