Charles Taylor Jr., the son of former Liberian President Charles Taylor and former Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor, has died after a sudden medical emergency in Monrovia.
According to credible medical sources, he suffered respiratory arrest at GIMS Hospital in the Sophie Community and was later transferred to JFK Medical Center in Sinkor after falling into a coma, where he was pronounced dead.
Charles Phillip Taylor Jr. held a Master’s degree in Shipping and Port Administration from the Regional Maritime University in Accra, Ghana, which he earned in July 2023.
His passing has drawn attention due to his family’s prominent role in Liberian politics and history.
No official statement has yet been released by the family regarding funeral arrangements.
