Social media personality Saida Boj has publicly responded to Seun Kuti’s recent warning against having unauthorized tattoos of his late father, Fela Kuti.
In a video that has since gone viral, Boj challenged Seun’s stance by citing international Afrobeat star Wizkid, who also has a tattoo of Fela on his arm.
“Wizkid having your father’s tattoo on him is enough proof he respects him,” Boj stated, suggesting that such body art can be a form of homage rather than disrespect.
