Hon. Amaechi Hanson, the former Executive Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area and former National Deputy Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hanson, who also previously served as the Abia State ALGON Chairman, was formally received into the party by the Ward 1 Executive of Obingwa LGA at his country home in Camp Clifford, Obeala.
His defection marks a significant gain for the APC in Abia State, adding a seasoned political administrator and grassroots leader to its ranks ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
