UGWUMBA Chika Ishionwu Hails APC Congresses, Pledges Stronger Youth Mobilisation in Abia

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and renowned youth advocate, ‘UGWUMBA’ Chika Ishionwu, has congratulated the party on what he described as the peaceful and successful conduct of its Ward, LGA and State Congresses across Abia.

Speaking shortly after the conclusion of the exercises, the Convener of the For Us By Us movement commended party stakeholders for ensuring a transparent and orderly process, noting that from the ward level to the state level, astute and capable leaders emerged without rancour.

UGWUMBA particularly described the emergence of Prince Abbah as Youth Leader as a strategic boost for youth mobilisation within the party. He also applauded the return of Chinedu Adindu as LGA Chairman, calling it “a political masterstroke that strengthens continuity, structure and grassroots coordination.”

On the election of Hon. Chijioke Chukwu as State Chairman, Ishionwu noted that the party has once again demonstrated wisdom in blending experience with youthful energy. According to him, the new State Chairman brings both institutional knowledge and a refreshing touch of youthfulness that positions the party for greater victories ahead.

In an emotional yet composed remark, UGWUMBA did not hide his excitement over having his “big brother” emerge as Abia State Youth Leader, describing it as a moment of pride and renewed responsibility.

Despite his enthusiasm, the APC stalwart maintained a tone of humility, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to the growth, unity and expansion of the party across Abia State. He emphasized that the task ahead is collective and assured that he remains ready to partner with the newly elected leadership to deepen youth participation and strengthen the APC’s grassroots presence.
