The event, which held today at the state party secretariat in Umuahia, saw Hon. Chinedum Adindu and 16 other LGA chairmen sworn into office to pilot the affairs of the party at the council levels. The inauguration marks the formal takeoff of the newly elected executive committees across the 17 local government areas of the state.

Ndukwe stated. “I charge you to go back to your localities and work tirelessly to strengthen our party. We must build an APC that is inclusive, peaceful, and ready to deliver the dividends of democracy to Abians.”
The State Chairman also reminded the new executives of the need for transparency, accountability, and internal democracy in the discharge of their duties, warning that the party leadership at the state level would not tolerate anti-party activities or actions capable of destabilizing the party’s cohesion.
