ABUJA, NIGERIA — Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has stated that it will be difficult for opposition parties to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) during the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at a recent political rally, Governor Wike emphasized Tinubu’s strong grassroots support, his track record in governance, and the ruling party’s organizational strength as key factors that make the FCT a challenging battleground for opposition forces.
