Kwankwaso Sounds the Trumpet: “Join NDC and Let’s Fight for Good Governance Together”

Former Kano State Governor and prominent opposition figure, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has issued a passionate call to Nigerians across all regions and walks of life to join the New Democratic Congress (NDC) in what he described as a renewed and determined fight for good governance, accountability, and national rebirth.

Kwankwaso, who has long positioned himself as a voice for the masses and marginalised Nigerians, urged citizens to look beyond ethnic and religious sentiments and rally around the NDC’s platform as the most credible vehicle for delivering the change Nigeria desperately needs.

The former minister and two-term governor argued that the current state of the nation — marked by rising poverty, insecurity, and governance failure — demands urgent and collective political action from every patriotic Nigerian.

His call to action comes at a critical moment in Nigeria’s political calendar, as parties and aspirants intensify preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections, with millions of Nigerians growing increasingly frustrated with the performance of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Kwankwaso expressed confidence that the NDC, if embraced by Nigerians in sufficient numbers, has the structure, ideology, and leadership quality to mount a formidable challenge against entrenched political interests in 2027.

Political analysts say his latest declaration signals a significant escalation in opposition mobilisation efforts as Nigeria’s pre-election season gathers momentum.
