Umuahia – The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State has summoned all stakeholders, LGA chairmen, and aspirants for Senate, House of Representatives, Governorship, and State Assembly to a mandatory meeting.
In a notice signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Uche Aguoru, the Abia APC stakeholders meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 12pm. The venue is the new APC State Secretariat on Finbarrs Road, immediately after the former PDP office.
The party issued a strong warning: no member, stakeholder, or aspirant should attend any meeting convened by any leader or stakeholder without the express approval of the state chairman.
“Attendance to such a meeting will attract consequences,” the notice read.
LGA chairmen and aspirants were specifically advised to attend on time. Political observers view the directive as a move to consolidate control and prevent factional gatherings ahead of upcoming primaries.
