Residents of Umuahia South have commended Hon. Chibuike Peter Onyeulo for celebrating children across the constituency as Nigeria marks the 2026 Children’s Day celebration.
In a goodwill message released on Wednesday, Hon. Onyeulo described children as the future leaders and innovators who will shape a better society. He encouraged children in Umuahia South to remain hopeful, focused on education, and committed to achieving their dreams.
According to the statement, every child deserves love, quality education, protection, and opportunities to succeed. The message also urged parents and community leaders to continue supporting the growth and welfare of children.
The colourful Children’s Day poster shared by the politician carried the message: “Protect Our Children • Educate Our Children • Empower Our Children,” reflecting his commitment to child development and youth empowerment in the constituency.
Hon. Onyeulo further assured residents that investing in children remains one of the greatest ways to secure a brighter future for Umuahia South and Abia State at large.
Children’s Day is celebrated annually in Nigeria on May 27 to honour children and promote awareness about their welfare, education, and rights.
