The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly candidate for Ikwuano State Constituency, Ugwumba Chika Ishionwo, joined children across Ikwuano to celebrate the 2026 International Children’s Day celebration.
The event, which attracted parents, community leaders, youths, and party supporters, was marked by excitement, entertainment, and words of encouragement for children in the area.
Speaking during the celebration, Ishionwo described children as the future of society and urged them to remain focused on education, discipline, and good values. He stressed the need for leaders to invest in the welfare and development of young people to build a stronger future for Ikwuano and Abia State.
The APC candidate also commended parents and teachers for their sacrifices in nurturing children despite economic challenges. He assured residents that the wellbeing of children and youths would remain a priority in his political vision for the constituency.
