Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has reaffirmed that the City Boy Movement remains committed to promoting national development, youth empowerment, and citizen participation across Nigeria.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that Seyi Tinubu made the remarks during an engagement with members and supporters of the movement, where he emphasized the importance of unity, patriotism, and collective responsibility in advancing the country’s development.
According to him, the City Boy Movement was established to encourage young Nigerians to contribute positively to nation-building through community service, leadership, entrepreneurship, and active participation in democratic processes.
Seyi Tinubu also urged members of the movement to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and focused on initiatives that promote social cohesion and economic growth. He stressed that sustainable development can only be achieved through collaboration between the government, the private sector, and citizens.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the City Boy Movement has continued to expand its activities across several states, with members organizing youth-focused programmes, community outreach initiatives, and civic engagement campaigns. Political observers say the movement has become increasingly visible as preparations for the 2027 general election gather momentum.
