Mexico has broken ranks with the position taken by CONCACAF and publicly backed FIFA President **Gianni Infantino** amid a growing dispute over football governance.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) expressed support for Infantino’s call for institutional governance and respect for FIFA’s established structures and processes.
CDA News gathered from the report that Mexico’s position differs from the harder stance taken by CONCACAF and UEFA over Infantino’s leadership and a controversial proposal involving FIFA’s commercial and financial arrangements.
