The family of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has demanded the identity of the US-based laboratory slated to conduct a DNA test on his son, Liam.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the development is the latest in the ongoing paternity dispute concerning the late singer’s son. The family’s legal team argued that revealing the lab’s identity is crucial to ensure transparency and prevent any manipulation of the results.
The legal representatives stressed that the test must be conducted in a credible, internationally recognized facility that both parties agree on. They noted that the process must follow strict international standards to guarantee the authenticity of the outcome.
The demand comes after a Magistrate Court in Lagos reportedly ordered the DNA test following an application by Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, who has persistently questioned the paternity of the child.
