NDLEA Nabs Two with 200 Cocaine Wraps

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested two Europe-based Nigerians after they allegedly ingested 200 wraps of cocaine weighing 3.46kg.

CDA News Nigeria gathered that the suspects, Aliocus Odife and Sam Blackborn, were intercepted on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, during the outward clearance of an Air France flight AF 832 from Abuja to Paris at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

According to a statement by NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi, body scans confirmed the presence of foreign objects in their stomachs. Odife confessed to ingesting 110 wraps weighing 1.901kg, while Blackborn excreted 90 wraps weighing 1.559kg. Both suspects had returned to Nigeria for holidays before their arrest.

In related operations across Lagos, Oyo, Kano, Kaduna, and other states, the agency recovered large consignments of cannabis, tramadol, and ammunition. NDLEA Chairman Brig-Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (retd.) warned Nigerians abroad against using their residence as cover for drug trafficking, stating there is no hiding place for anyone risking their life for a fee.
